I have been a member for almost 7 years but today I tried to drop my membership. When I called the person answering the phone didn't even know what to do. I asked for a manager, he said she was busy. When I asked for voicemail, he didn't know what to do. This gym has steadily gone down hill since new management took over since last winter. Very poorly run, staff being gradually reduced and replaced with incapable people, obviously to cut costs. Equipment in poor condition, no customer service at all. I'm leaving.
This place has been filthy lately. Today is extremely bad. Garbages are overflowing, sinks and water fountains look gross and all the soap dispenser in the bathroom are out of soap -- you can't even wash your hands. Perfect for the flue season! Apparently they are hiring housekeeping position, I guess they refuse to clean until they hire someone... Bad Gold's!
This is the most well stocked gym in the area. The friendly staff and atmosphere are perfect. Go throughout the week for a great workout!
My least favorite gym in the Madison area. Can't get my boyfriend out of his Membership. Staff is unknowledgeable. I had a Northface jacket stolen once. Again, staff was unkowledgeable about what to do. The atmosphere here is uncomfortable and the members aren't going to the gym just to do their own workout. Reminded me of middle school. It seemed very judgemental and gossipy, unless your a "bodybuilder."
Great facility. They keep all the equipment in working order and the pool is always clean.
