Room was clean. It had a full size fridge and 2 burner stove. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was more than waffles and cold cereal. Over, a nice place to stay
I came to Madison for the Homecoming football game and was fortunate to book a room at the Hawthorn in Fitchburg. Great hotel in an excellent location (short drive to the campus); staff was courteous and pleasant to interact with. I booked a two-room suite and it was clean and looked to be in very good condition. The bed was extremely comfortable; checkout was a breeze in the morning. I highly recommend this hotel.
Our stay was pleasant. The king size bed in the suit was very comfortable. The only thing is that they have very clearly been remodeling.

Beautiful hotel with great staff. Truly loved my extended stay with The Hawthorne. Location is not bad, had a number of restaurants nearby and other small local businesses. There was also a bar walking distance from the hotel. I truly appreciated the clean environment, professionalism from the staff and the check-in was quick and easy. The rooms were one of the best rooms I have seen while I traveling. I will for sure be staying again. They earned the five stars.
